"I can't
remember a time when I didn't listen to the radio. From Childrens' Favourites
in the 50's through the pirate stations (Luxemburg & Caroline) in the 60's
to Radio 1 in the 70's & 80's and Radio 2 in the 90's and noughties. I
guess that sort of ages me! But it is this breadth of music listening pleasure
that I try to bring to CHR each Sunday evening with my co-presenter Terry. We
include a mix of gospel, choral, country, blues and rock, with some of the most
gifted singers from home & abroad. Artists stretch from Alice
& Jennifer McKee form Aghadowey to Hayley Westenra from New Zealand.
For music to
lift your soul, tune in each Sunday evening from 8pm to 10pm.
Becoming a
presenter on CHR has been a very pleasurable and rewarding experience and I
would recommend it to anyone who enjoys music and has ever dreamed of being
behind the microphone. CHR needs more presenters, so if you would like to find
